The House Votes Against a Debt Ceiling Increase

Obama requested a debt ceiling increase of 1.2 Trillion dollars. The House voted against it in resounding fashion, 239-176. The Senate will vote on this issue next week.
From what I understand of the FOX News story, this is part of the debt deal that they came up with in August. This is just a debt ceiling increase that was agreed upon in advance and will be finalized fifteen days after Obama had requested it. So if the Senate follows suit, the President will likely just veto it.
How will the country perceive the job Obama is doing if he vetoes the will of the people on this issue? Probably not very good if we, as Conservatives, can tie the massive debt to scandals like Eleven Solyndras or a poor job market.
I say kudos to the House for voting against the debt ceiling increase. And I urge the Senate to follow in form as quickly as possible.
