I am the son of immigrants. My family left a regime that did not encourage the economic freedoms of its citizens. We have to keep the United States the "shining city on a hill" as stated by Reagan. I am part of the Reagan Coalition. Some of the pictures from this site comes from: donkeyhotey |
Share Liberal Media Protected Obama During Debate1/26/12 Yet another night the liberal media protects Obama. The Republican debate tonight on CNN focused on semantics like
And when they did get to healthcare, CNN tried to cut Santorum off. Michelle Malkin had made a great twitter post.
It is not the candidates fault. It is CNN. They are the ones in charge of asking the questions. Now that I think about it. I have NOT ONCE heard Fast and Furious being included in any debate? Why? There was another post on Facebook from a member of ours that had this to say:
But think about it. The liberal debate commentators will not ask about the pressing issues because they would highlight the failures of the Obama administration.
But I give props to Santorum at the 70 minute mark for calling Romney out for having a mandate in Massachusetts' Romneycare. Santorum to Romney: "Your mandate is no different from Barack Obama's mandate." was a strong point of the debate BUT Wolf Blitzer did all he could to end Rick Santorum from continuing to talk about it. Why? Because it would expose the failure of the mandate theory?
Santorum had hit it on the head. People would rather pay the fine than buy into the health insurance and since pre-existing conditions cannot be denied... people will only buy the insurance once they actually need it. Premiums go through the roof. As a young guy myself, I could wait until I needed healthcare and then buy insurance and quickly get off of insurance after I got them to pay for what I wanted/needed. Abuse of the system results in higher premiums. By cutting Santorum off, they protected Obama because they didn't want this debate to be a platform to expose the poor policies of the Obama administration. The opinions herein are not supported by any community or organization. It is just the personal opinions of a blogger. But that is what allows me to be a loose cannon for the truth. I will be updating this site daily with what goes on in the world of politics and the economy.
