What Would Jesus Do? (according to Obama)

A: Tax the rich.
As reported by Politico, Obama said his Christian faith has led him to the conclusion of taxing the rich.
The rich should pay more because “for me as a Christian, it coincides with Jesus’s teaching that ‘for unto whom much is given, much shall be required,’” Obama said at the Washington Hilton.
Obama does not usually invoke his faith so it is odd that he would do so as a way of justifying his economic theory. Faith helps one to deal with problems, act appropriately, put family first, respect life, etc...
Here is a quote by Obama's father...
"Theoretically, there is nothing that can stop the government from taxing 100% of income so long as the people get benefits from the government commensurate with their income which is taxed." - July 1965.
Obama's economic theory of big government and high taxes comes from his father -- not his faith.
He has also been criticized by Catholic groups who think their religious freedoms are infringed by being forced to pay for contraception / abortion coverage in health insurance.
