Will Obama Throw Israel Under the Bus if Re-elected?

Obama is already on record as saying he supported Israel returning to its 1967 borders. But how serious is his support?
Well according to the Palestinian foreign minister, he will work to promote a Palestinian state if re-elected.
Asked whether Abbas holds out hope that Obama -- if re-elected and freed from some of his domestic political shackles -- will push hard for serious negotiations on the Palestinian territory becoming a nation, Malki said: "They told us so."
He said the Obama administration asked Abbas to be patient until then.
Victoria Nuland, spokeswoman for the State Department said:
"We completely reject that characterization, both of our views and the message" to Palestinians and Israelis.
This could just be a case of lost in translation since we do not know exactly what was said between the two.
