Obamanomics: Record Number of Women Out of Workforce

CNSNews.com put together an article about women and our recent labor statistics. Here is a summary of their findings:

  1. 324K women dropped out of the labor force in March and April.
  2. 53,321,000 women are out of the workforce -- an all time high.
  3. Only 57.6% of women are participating in the labor force -- America's lowest level since April 1993.
  4. For men and women combined, the labor force participation rate is the lowest since December 1981.

The only reason the unemployment rate isn't double digits is because Obama does not count millions of Americans as participating in the labor force.
