In 1996, The Democratic Socialists of America sponsored speaker Barack Obama in their "First Town Meeting on Economic Insecurity".

This ad was printed in the Hyde Park Herald on February 25, 1996.

If a Republican was sponsored by fascists, you would not hear the end of it.
